1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using My Paradise (myparadise.mv), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of our Maldives travel booking platform.

2. Our Services

My Paradise provides travel booking services for the Maldives, including:

  • AI-powered trip planning and recommendations
  • Hotel and resort reservations
  • Flight search and booking assistance
  • Speedboat and seaplane transfer arrangements
  • Diving, excursions, and experience bookings
  • WhatsApp concierge support
  • Curated travel packages

3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Process

When you make a booking through My Paradise, you are entering into a contract with the relevant service provider (hotel, airline, transfer company, or experience operator). We act as an intermediary to facilitate these bookings.

3.2 Pricing

All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed. Final prices include applicable taxes and fees as displayed at checkout.

3.3 Payment

Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified. We accept major credit cards and bank transfers. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

4.1 Hotel Cancellations

Cancellation policies vary by property. Please review the specific cancellation terms for your chosen accommodation before booking. Most resorts require 14-30 days notice for free cancellation.

4.2 Flight Cancellations

Flight cancellation and change fees are determined by the airline. We will assist you in processing cancellations but cannot guarantee refunds beyond the airline's policy.

4.3 Experience Cancellations

Most experiences can be cancelled up to 24-48 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund. Weather-related cancellations will be rescheduled or refunded.

4.4 Transfer Cancellations

Speedboat and seaplane transfers typically require 48 hours notice for cancellation. No-shows are non-refundable.

5. Travel Requirements

Travelers to the Maldives must ensure they meet all entry requirements:

  • Valid passport with at least 6 months validity
  • Confirmed hotel reservation
  • Return or onward ticket
  • Sufficient funds for the stay
  • Any visa requirements based on nationality
  • Travel insurance (strongly recommended)

My Paradise is not responsible for denied entry due to failure to meet immigration requirements.

6. AI Trip Planner

Our AI Trip Planner provides recommendations based on your preferences. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated suggestions should be reviewed before booking. Prices and availability shown by the AI planner are estimates and subject to confirmation.

7. Limitation of Liability

My Paradise acts as an intermediary between you and travel service providers. We are not liable for service failures, delays, or issues caused by hotels, airlines, transfer operators, or experience providers. Our liability is limited to the commission or service fees paid to us, not the total booking value.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Attempt to manipulate prices or availability
  • Interfere with the operation of our platform
  • Resell or commercially exploit our services without permission

9. Intellectual Property

All content on myparadise.mv, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of My Paradise or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. My Paradise operates under Travel Agency License TRA-1841 issued by the Ministry of Tourism pursuant to the Maldives Tourism Act (Law No. 2/99). Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Maldives.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
